A bundle of projects and programs concerned with supporting the educational process in Syria through establishing and opening public schools and operating them, supporting teachers, raising the capacity of educational cadres, and supporting students with all available means of support.
The program functions in cities, gatherings, and camps that lack the presence of a school.
The program offers its services free of charge to the community and seeks to expand them to include gatherings and camps that lack educational support.

Running schools
The lack of support for schools, starting with the salaries of educational staff and the facilitation of requirements of the educational process is one of the most prominent problems of the educational sector, which comes in the first place. Because of our belief in the importance of education and that it is the only solution to guarantee the future of Syria, Wefaq Humanitarian Association is working to operate schools by subsidizing the salaries of teachers and providing the necessary needs and stationery. The Association has contributed to the operation of more than 12 schools in different regions of Syria and continues to support the operation of schools in various possible ways.

Distribution of school bags for orphaned children
Wefaq Humanitarian Association aims, through the project of distributing school bags and stationery to orphans, to reduce the burdens of the beginning of each academic year. Where the project works to secure all the needs of orphan students in terms of stationery and school supplies, to suffice them for a whole year. The diversity of the targeted segment and the different ages and grades are taken into account, and therefore the different requirements.

Literacy courses
Among the projects that primarily target illiterate women, the project works to teach them to read and write to an acceptable degree in order to help them acquire new skills, give them flexibility in communicating with others, and work on the advancement of society in general. Our organization has implemented many literacy courses in northern Syria, mainly in several camps, some of which are still ongoing.

Skills improvement courses for educational staffs
We aim to raise the level and quality of education in all aspects. We are not satisfied with building schools only, but we are working to raise the level and quality of the educational staff through training courses and workshops under the supervision of specialists. Our last course was to improve the skills of educational staffs, in cooperation with the Directorate of Education in Souran, which benefited the staff of Al-Akram School in Ihtaimlat camp (30 teachers).
